The Firm
Metzner law firm was founded in 1975 by Olivier Metzner. From its origins, the firm has been acting in the field of criminal defence. Owing to this experience before all the French criminal Courts (first instance Courts, Courts of Appeal) and before numerous foreign Courts, the firm was among the first ones to specialize in the field of white collar crime in the late 1980s.
Ever since, Metzner Associés has been involved in most high profile white collar crime cases in France.
The firm's expertise is wide ranging and covers all fields of business criminal law such as stock market criminal law, criminal liability of corporate officers and directors and of legal entities, environment hazards, plane accidents, shipwrecks, domestic or foreign corruption and money laundering.
Metzner Associés's activities also cover general criminal law, libel and slander suits, fraud and professional malpractice suits before regulatory bodies.
